TG Chat is a chat room which exists to provide friendship and support for those who are transgendered and their friends. These rules exist to support this goal.

1. TG Chat is privately operated, maintained and funded. No right to use the chat facility exists and people use the facility by invitation. This invitation may be withdrawn at any time and without notice for abuse of the facility.
2. TG Chat is not an adult site nor a sex site.
3. Logon names must not be offensive, sexually suggestive or contain references to adult activities including (but not limited to) BDSM, prostitution or sexual activity.
4. The software permits a person's logon name to be used as a web hyperlink. The linking to adult web sites or commercial sites - either for the benefit of the person chatting or anyone else is not permitted. This includes eBay or other auction sites.
5. Commercial advertising is not permitted
6. The chat room is open to minors. Any attempt made by a user of the chat room to induce someone who is or who appears to be a minor to take part in illegal activities will be reported to the relevant law enforcement authorities.
7. TG Chat users may use a picture by their logon name. This picture must not be that of another person unless the fact is clearly indicated by the person's logon name (the phrase "fantasy picture" after a logon name will suffice.)
8. Composite pictures which have a face pasted onto another person's body are treated as fantasy pictures and must be identified as such. Use of fantasy pictures without explicit declaration will result in the user being removed from the chat room temporarily or permanently.
9. This is not an adult or a sex site and the use of pictures showing nudity (including female or transgendered nipples) or pornographic activities is strictly forbidden. Abusers will be removed from the chat room without warning.
10. Flaming, personal attacks, threats and abuse against other users will NOT be tolerated. This is a place for friendship and support. Offenders will be removed from the chat room temporarily or permanently.
11. Solicitation for sex, phone chat or other adult activity, either in the logon name or in the open text of the chat is not permitted.
12. You must not link to pictures on a site which requires a username and password to gain access.
13. The use of Javascript or Java in the chat room is strictly forbidden.
14. Attempts to hack into or to disrupt the normal running of the chat room (including by repeated posting of large texts to the room) are not permitted and the abuser will have access terminated without notice.
15. In deciding whether a chat name or a link is unsuitable for use in the chat room, the decision of the site's administrator is final and discussion will not be entered into once a person has been asked to change their logon name, picture or hyperlink.
16. Impersonation of another user of the chat room is not permitted. Anyone who is caught impersonating another user will have their access terminated permanently.
17. The SO's room is for wives, partners and girlfriends of transgendered people. It is not a chat room for transgendered people except to discuss matters relating to wives girlfriends and partners. For general chat use the spare room if you want more privacy.
18. Do not use any room other than the Test Room to check your logon links or pictures.
19. Please try not to use pictures in excess of 60KB in size and absolutely no larger than 100KB.
